These past couple of months have been really tough, mentally especially. How are we supposed to process these global changes?
I have had to dig really deep and ask myself many questions.
Although Governments are trying their best to adapt and lead, the barrage of messages being sent out are not entirely helpful.
Although many of the messages are intended to encourage health and safety, many of the same are creating a spirit of fear and paralysis. (above picture: my music studio)
We all have been encouraged to keep the conversation going, but there is a lack of reality in all this 'zoom'.
The best gift we can give each other right now is authenticity. In the midst of this uncertainty I have had time to get reacquainted with who I am and what I love to do.
I love to create and I love music. Who are you and what do you love to do? And how can the answers to those two questions help you function during this challenging time in history?
Recently I had the opportunity to write a jingle for a new business, and I can't begin to tell you how much joy I experienced through that adventure. I don't want to be afraid, and I don't want to be silent. I don't want to shut down just because the world is!
